Today’s the day to step outside and shop for books in the fresh air.

The Rotary Club of Chilliwack is hosting its second annual Outdoor Book Sale today (Saturday, Aug. 28) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Most books are $1 to $5, and there is a selection of DVDs and records as well.

“Being outside means there is lots of room for people to spread out and distance from others,” said Anita Rogers, fundraising and grants director for the club.

The one-day Chilliwack Rotary Club Outdoor Book Sale is Saturday, Aug. 28 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Rotary Service Building (44870 Wolfe Rd.) at the west end of Townsend Park. Free parking is available on the east side of the building.
