Chilliwack Restorative Justice and Youth Advocacy Association is hosting a causal and entertaining casino fundraiser on Saturday evening.
Denim and Dice guests will enjoy live music from Andrew Christopher and Appaloosa, plenty of appetizers and bites, and test their luck with blackjack, poker and more.
There will also be a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, and plenty of awesome prizes to be won.
Funds raised will support restorative justice programming, which bring offenders and victims together to discuss criminal incidents and find ways to repair the harm caused. Operating since 1998, this organization has been successful in connecting youth with their community, providing mentorship to young offenders and facilitating restitution to victims by offenders.
Tickets are $75 each, available online at restoringjustice.ca or at the Community Policing Office (45877 Wellington Ave).
Denim and Dice takes place April 9 at Squiala Hall (45005 Squiala Rd).
