It's time for organizations and businesses to sign up to be part of the Chilliwack Rotary Christmas Parade.
The annual festive event returns to the streets of downtown Chilliwack on Saturday, Nov. 30, starting at 5:30 p.m. Every year, thousands of people fill the area to take in the dozens of floats and entries, and, of course to see Santa.
Early bird registration for those who want to be in the parade is underway now and ends on Nov. 16. The last day to register is Nov. 23. People can sign up online at chilliwackchristmasparade.ca.
Some of the highlights for this year are three marching bands, including Chilliwack's own Sardis Drumline, plus volunteers with the Chilliwack Salvation Army will be collecting monetary donations. They will accept cash and will have Square available so people can donate by tapping their credit/debit cards.
This year's parade will be live-streamed by G.W. Graham Secondary School.
Participants, sponsors and volunteers are all welcome. For more info, including to register to be in the parade, go to chilliwackchristmasparade.ca.
