Realtors’ toy drive will help bring Christmas to Chilliwack kids in need

An annual Christmas toy drive hosted by a group of Chilliwack Realtors is back.

The 28th annual Toy House by Remax Nyda Realty runs from Dec. 1 to 11 with a drive-thru event on the last day.

They are collecting donations of new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children in need and all donations will go to Chilliwack Community Services for Christmas hampers.

People can drop off items at the office (7300 Vedder Rd.) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 1 to 11.

The drive-thru event takes place on Saturday, Dec. 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 7300 Vedder Rd. There will be goodie bags for the kids.

Suggested new, unwrapped gift donations include:

• board games (all ages)

• craft kits (all ages)

• books (all ages)

• educational toys

• Lego

• puzzles (all ages)

• art supplies

• curling irons, blow dryers

• make-up kits

• mittens, gloves, scarves

• warm jackets

• gift cards to music stores, book stores and clothing stores

• cash

No plush toys/stuffed animals, please.
