A Chilliwack real estate agency is looking for at least 50 people who are in need of some holiday cheer this Christmas.

HomeLife Advantage Realtors is busy putting together 50-plus gift boxes filled with all sorts of items that they will be handing out this holiday season.

It’s all part of their 50 Boxes Project where they’re assembling at least 50 boxes with a minimum value of $50 each.

Now they are looking for people to apply for the boxes or nominate someone they know who needs one.

“HomeLife Advantage Realtors want to help out this Christmas 2020 by providing a minimum of 50 boxes to people in our community who could really use them,” the real estate agency wrote in the announcement. “Write to us about your story and how you could use some extra Christmas cheer this year.”

It is only open to people who live in Chilliwack.

People can head to the 50 Boxes Project website and select one of types of boxes available such as: family Christmas dinner, family with gifts for young kids, comfort for seniors, people who are missing a loved one or lonely, and new moms.

Folks can even specify some of the items they really need in the ‘special request’ comments section.

The boxes will be delivered to each person’s house, or people can pick up their box from the HomeLife office on Keith Wilson Road.
