PHOTOS: Rain doesn't dampen spirits at Chilliwack car show

Fortin's Village Classic Car Show draws in more than 350 cars to downtown Chilliwack

More than 350 classic and collector cars showed up downtown Chilliwack for the Village Classic Car Show June 23.

A day of rain didn't stop people from enjoying themselves, and many car owners stayed dry with the help of tents, umbrellas and shammies to towel dry their cars throughout the show.

The newest "streets" of Chilliwack downtown, which are normally reserved for pedestrians only, were filled with a selection of collector cars. So, people could stroll from shop to shop along Wooley Dog Alley and Thunderbird Lane while admiring a steady stream of beauties.

Awards were handed out, several food trucks were available throughout the downtown, and live entertainment was set up at Central Community Park, with a beer garden.
