The artists, coming from around the Lower Mainland were at the historic site for its fifth annual Plein Air Festival, an event that allows painters to work at the historic site over the weekend and have their artwork judged by a panel.
Friday saw these paintings begin to come to life, as artists began to map out their work.
The painters will be at the historic site Saturday, Aug. 17, with a Sunday afternoon gala revealing the best of the weekend’s work.
