PHOTOS: Commencement back in-person for more than 1,000 Chilliwack grads

The Progress and readers share photos of Chilliwack, Sardis, G.W. Graham, Kwiyeqel graduations

After two years of virtual and physically-distanced grad commencement ceremonies, hundreds of Chilliwack high school students walked across the stage this year.

Over the course of three days the majority of Chilliwack’s graduating class of 2022 received their diplomas. G.W. Graham Secondary School held its commencement on June 9, Sardis was on June 10 and Chilliwack Secondary celebrated on June 11 for a total of approximately 975 graduates.

Kwiyeqel Secondary School was one of the smaller graduating classes with about 50 students while Unity Christian had 46 grads.

The Progress put the call out for folks to share their commencement photos and there was a big response. Here are some of those images, along with photos shot by photojournalist Jenna Hauck.

Check out our grad section which appeared in the June 10 issue of The Progress and online here.
