Sardis Elementary hosted a food drive on Wednesday, June 15 to support the Chilliwack Food Bank, which often struggles to fill its shelves during the summer months.
Students helped load the truck with 19 banana boxes full of food donations.
School staff say they plan to make the summer food drive an annual event.
