In an effort to thank the Chilliwack community for their generous support, students from Central Elementary visited a variety of local businesses and organizations with handmade gifts on Wednesday, May 4.

They were also joined by high school students from G.W. Graham for their Take Action day.

One group of students delivered a quilt covered in heart-shaped hand-prints and a few oversized cards to Main Street Church, to thank them for their assistance with Central’s new playground and attendance initiative.

Another group of elementary students visited The Book Man to deliver fresh tulips and a framed photograph to thank them for all the books they’ve donated to the school classrooms.

Groups continued with cheerful deliveries around Chilliwack throughout the afternoon.
