Anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved one is welcome to join others in a new walking group in Chilliwack.

The Chilliwack Hospice Society’s Supportive Walking Group program begins on Sept. 10.

“This is an opportunity for a relaxing and supportive walk for all who are grieving the loss of a loved one,” Chilliwack Hospice Society said in the event announcement.

Folks can join trained hospice volunteers on Thursday mornings for a physically distanced and peaceful walk through Sardis Park.

People are asked to meet in the Chilliwack Hospice Society office parking lot (7112 Vedder Rd.) at 9:30 a.m. on Thursdays from Sept. 10 to Oct. 29. Please bring comfortable walking shoes and a bottle of water.

To register, call Laurie at 604-845-6900 or laurie@chilliwackhospice.org.
