An annual fundraiser walk to support people with Parkinson's disease is returning to Chilliwack at the end of the summer.

The 34th annual Parkinson SuperWalk is Saturday, Sept. 7 at the Landing Sports Centre (45530 Spadina Ave.).

Funds raised help Parkinson Society British Columbia continue to grow its programs and services, expand advocacy efforts, and increase its investment in innovative research.

There are three modest walking routes: .8 kilometres, 1.2 kilometres, and 1.6 kilometres.

Registration that day is at 9 a.m. and the walk starts at 10 a.m.

There are approximately 15,000 people in British Columbia living with Parkinson’s, and more than 100,000 across Canada.

To participate, donate, or for more, go to parkinson.bc.ca.
