Sean Auguste, co-founder and representative of Prostate Cancer Canada Network's Chilliwack branch, speaks with Sardis secondary's Humanitarian Club at the school on Thursday. The club donated $146.90 to Movember, a moustache-growing event to raise money for prostate cancer research throughout the month of November. Auguste is a prostate cancer survivor and spoke with the students about the disease and the history of the local branch.

Canada is currently the leading country for Movember, raising more than $38 million nationally in this year alone.

The Chilliwack branch of PCCN meets on the first Thursday of the month at the Lions Club Hall (45580 Spadina Ave.) at 7:30 p.m.
