The launch of Halq’eméylem e-book, Te Shwoxwth Swiyeqe (The Crazy Painter), took place at the Sto:lo Research Centre recently.

The book was narrated by Elizabeth Phillips and the late Elizabeth Herrling, two Sto:lo elders fluent in the Halq’eméylem language.

The e-book was produced and developed by Dr. Strang Burton (pictured above, second from left) and is a story, narrated by the Sto:lo elders, about a painter.
