It was fairly quiet at Chilliwack Heritage Park on Wednesday as small groups of volunteers and organizers were speckled through the red barns getting everything in place for this weekend’s fair.

But, it was a lot busier today as farmers hauled in livestock for the Chilliwack Fair, and people brought in perfect home-grown produce, all in hopes of winning a blue ribbon this year.

And it’ll just get more packed tomorrow. The 145th annual Chilliwack Fair starts Friday, Aug. 11 and runs until Sunday.
