The Atchelitz Threshermen’s Association’s big garage sale fundraiser takes place this weekend.
The annual event is one of the only sources of income for the historic agricultural museum society in Chilliwack.
The two-day sale runs Saturday, Sept. 25 and Sunday, Sept. 26 from 8 a.m. to 30 p.m. at 44146 Luckakuck Way (beside Chilliwack Heritage Park).
“This is our last event of the year and our fundraiser to help cover some of our yearly cost of operation,” said association president Ray Ramey.
The event is being held on the same day as the City of Chilliwack’s semi-annual City-Wide Garage Sale (Saturday, Sept. 25).
Prior to the Atchelitz Threshermen’s Association’s garage sale, people can drop off donations of items (no furniture) on Sept. 23 and 24.
They are recommending folks wear masks on site.
Check out the Friday, Sept. 24 print edition of The Progress for a full list of addresses listed in the City-Wide Garage Sale, or see our e-edition.
