A French discussion group has started up again in Chilliwack to offer lively conversations every Tuesday night in Evergreen Hall for the next several months.
The French discussions kicked off last October, hosted by members of the Fraser Valley Francophone Association, and the first monthly meeting of the new year is set for Jan. 24.
The idea was to bring francophones and francophiles together around the goal of keeping the French language alive in the Fraser Valley, as well as sharpening their French conversation skills.
The discussion group will be meeting in the Minto Room of Evergreen Hall from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the following dates: Jan. 24, Feb. 21, March 20, April 24, May 22 and June 19.
