Free early-learning fair for little ones returns to Chilliwack

Third annual Chilliwack Early Years Fair coming to Sardis Library with 'picnic and play' theme

An annual fair geared towards kids aged five and younger is returning to Chilliwack in June.

The Chilliwack Early Years Fair is Wednesday, June 4 at the Sardis Library and it is presented by a number of partners including the Chilliwack Learning Society, City of Chilliwack and Chilliwack School District.

This year's theme is 'Picnic and Play'.

"The fair promises a variety of activities designed to engage and entertain children while providing valuable resources for parents and caregivers," said Annette Williams, with the Chilliwack Learning Society.

"Highlights of the event include family picnic food boxes, fun games and activities, face painting, and live music. Early-years information booths will provide access to information about early childhood development and services."

The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sardis Library (5819 Tyson Rd.).
