Fraser Valley Health Foundation annouces fifth annual golf tourney

Proceeds will benefit medical facilites across the Valley

Brush up on your golf game; a tournament for a good cause is coming.

The Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation invites golfers from all over the Valley to their fifth annual Golfing “Fore” Your Hospitals Tournament at Sandpiper Golf Course in Harrison Hot Springs on September 10. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit Abbotsford Regional Hospital, Chilliwack General Hospital, Mission Memorial Hospital and Fraser Canyon Hospital.

Liz Harris, the foundation’s executive, said safety would be a top priority during the tournament with staggered tee times to ensure safe distancing practices during the pandemic.

“While the tournament may look a little different this year, we are still doing everything we can to make it just as memorable and fun as previous years,” Harris said.

The tournament will also include breakfast, lunch, an online silent auction and raffles. Sponsorship opportunities and tickets are still available. Those interested in sponsoring should contact the foundation office at 1-877-661-0314 or visit www.fvhcf.ca.

The Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation helps fund important equipment and programs for medical facilities throughout the Fraser Valley, serving the communities of Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack, Hope, Agassiz and Harrison Hot Springs.
