The Agassiz-Harrison community is rallying around their isolated seniors to make their holiday season merry and bright.
Staff from the Agassiz Seniors Community put out a social media call for outdoor Christmas decorations to raise the morale of seniors. Due to a COVID-19 outbreak declared by Fraser Health in late October, Agassiz Seniors Community was until very recently closed to the public, isolating area senior residents for 30 days.
Due to COVID-related restrictions and infection control standards, the Seniors Community cannot have indoor decorations this year.
If you have outdoor Christmas decorations or have questions about how you can help, call 604-796-3886 ext. 0, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can also email kstam@simpeq.ca.
