The class read, studied and discussed the novel A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry for the six-week class. On the last day (above) they celebrated with Indian attire and food from Bay Leaf.

The class was taught by retired librarians Carrie Hinterberger and Leona Gardiner and their class discussed Indian politics, women's issues, the caste system, city infrastructures and religious aspects.
