Chilliwack Pride 2025 promises a 'vibrant celebration' downtown

Sunday's Pride Festival in Chilliwack 'a beautiful celebration of love, acceptance, and community' say organizers

The theme for the 2025 Chilliwack Pride Festival is 'Bloom with Pride' coming up in downtown Chilliwack on Sunday, July 13.

"Get ready for a day of fun, celebration, and community spirit as the Chilliwack Pride Festival takes over Central Village in Downtown Chilliwack!" according to the organizers.

Organizers are still very much in need of volunteers for the big event. Anyone interested can send an email to: volunteers@chilliwackpride.com

The festival runs 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Central Community Park and Central Village in downtown Chilliwack as well as on local streets like Wellington, Mill, Victoria, College and Bole, which will all be closed to traffic and "taken over by rainbows" for the festival.

Who's invited? "Everyone belongs at this vibrant community celebration of diversity and inclusion!'

Expect live entertainment, vendors and service booths, a kids' zone with games and activities, as well as food trucks.

To help with accessibility and inclusion, there will be 'Quiet Room' for those who need a break and a safe space from the festivities.

Closed captioning and ASL services will be on the main stage to ensure every attendee can enjoy the performances.

"This free-to-attend, family-friendly event is open to all ages, cultures, gender identities, and sexual orientations."

"Come create unforgettable memories with friends old and new as you immerse yourself in the vibrant energy of the Chilliwack Pride Festival. Join us and be part of this beautiful celebration of love, acceptance, and community.

"Let's show that everyone can bloom with pride!"
