Three days of food, entertainment and fun are to be found at this year's Chilliwack Fair, and that includes a return of the always-popular pig races.

Other notable events taking place throughout the fair, at Chilliwack Heritage Park, include the 4H shows, an arts and crafts exhibition, demonstrations from the Vancouver Circus School, and gold panning with Yukon Dan.

While at the fair, make sure to take a stroll down Gasoline Alley, where you'll find demonstrations and exhibits hosted by the Atchelitz Threshermen's Society.

Also back to entertain this year is the Lumberjack Show, Star Wars characters interacting with the public, and the model railway club.

Make sure to stop in at the 4H booths and learn about the projects, and remember to always ask before touching any animal at the fair.

Also keep a keen eye out for artistic demonstrations, including the creation of a mural by Tommy Green.

The full schedule of events can be found at chilliwackfair.com and in this special section of The Progress.
