Organizers with the Chilliwack-Vedder River Cleanup are hoping for a big crowd of river stewards early Saturday morning. The second river cleanup of the year is on July 19 with registration at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve at 8:30 a.m.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon. Donuts, coffee, drinks, garbage bags, rubber gloves, and pick-up tools will be provided.
The Great Blue Heron Reserve is at 5200 Sumas Prairie Road.
