Angel Trees are glittering across Chilliwack as part of the Chilliwack Christmas Sharing program.

The way it works is Angel Trees are in different businesses and organizations for those generous community members wanting to pick up a gift tag.

They purchase a gift according to details on the tag, and then return the unwrapped gift to any Angel Tree location before Dec. 9.

Christmas Sharing is a community partnership between the Chilliwack Salvation Army and Chilliwack Community Services to provide local families in Chilliwack with Christmas hampers. The Salvation Army handles the food portion of the hamper while Community Services takes care of the toy/gift collection for children up to 18 years old.

Anyone still interested in being an Angel Tree host, is asked to email christmas@comserv.bc.ca or call 604-316-4275
