Neigum lands with division rival

The Chilliwack Bruins placed 20-year-old forward Shayne Neigum on waivers Thursday, and he was picked up by the Kamloops Blazers.

By waiving Neigum, the Bruins got down to the league mandated maximum of three 20 year olds on their active roster. The veterans are goaltender Lucas Gore, and defencemen Jeff Einhorn and Brandon Manning.

Neigum, who was acquired from the Edmonton Oil Kings at the 2009 WHL bantam draft, appeared in 76 games with the Bruins scoring 11 goals and adding 13 assists.
