Bruins getting pre-season love

These are heady times for the Chilliwack Bruins, who’ve just been given an honourable mention in the pre-season BMO CHL rankings.

The Bruins have never been listed in the rankings, but the 2010-11 version seems to be drawing pre-season love. The Portland Winter Hawks are third overall, behind the Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors (OHL) and Saint John Sea Dogs (QMJHL).

The Tri-City Americans check in sixth overall followed by the Saskatoon Blades (eighth) and Red Deer Rebels (10th).

The Bruins are listed as honourable mentions along with the Ottawa 67’s (OHL) and Quebec Remparts (QMJHL).
