Bio:
Gwen O'Mahony is the New Democratic Party MLA for Chilliwack-Hope. She is also opposition critic for skills training.
O'Mahony first ran for the NDP in Chilliwack-Hope in 2009, and won the MLA seat in an April 2012 by-election. She previously served as President of the Abbotsford Rotaract, a college and career extension of the Rotary. She has stated her advocacy for health care and community environmental issues.
O'Mahony lives in Chilliwack with her two nieces.
