U-21 men back in action as PCSL schedule resumes

Chilliwack FC's U-21 PCSL reserve men face Victoria United and the Mid Isle Highlanders in soccer action this weekend.

A two week break ends this weekend as Chilliwack’s Pacific Coast Soccer League U-21 men host a pair of Vancouver Island opponents.

Victoria United (4-2-1) rolls into town Saturday for the first of four straight home games for the Chilliwack side. CFC hosts the Mid Isle Highlanders (4-2-0) Sunday.

Both games are at Townsend Park and both have 2 p.m. start times.

CFC carries a 2-2-1 record into the weekend, though they’re coming off a 3-2 loss to the Kamloops Heat in their last outing.

Chilliwack’s PCSL U-21 women are also in action this weekend, hitting the road for a Sunday afternoon tilt versus the NSGSC Stars.

Chilliwack has played five games this season, all of them ties. Despite being unbeaten, the locals sit eighth in the eight-team women’s division.

Their next home game is a June 24 rematch with the Stars.
