The University of the Fraser Valley baseball team has lost another game to the elements.

A mid-week match against the Vancouver Island Mariners was rained out, the ninth game the Cascades have lost through three weeks of the Canadian Colleges Baseball Conference season.

UFV (1-1) heads to Kelowna Friday for a double-header vs the Okanagan College Coyotes (5-7).

The Cascades are home Sunday to host the Yotes in a twin-bill that starts at noon at Fairfield Island.
