Robert Johnson finished first overall at the Chilliwack Triathlon, held Sept. 9 at Cultus Lake.
Johnson out-duelled fellow Chilliwackian Anthony Toth to take the title, finishing with a time of 1:53:09.
Toth finished just over two minutes back at 1:55:45.
They were the clear trend setters in the field. Richmond’s James Mutter finished third, but he was well back with a time of 2:06:37.
The next highest Chilliwack competitor was Angela Froese.
She was the second fastest woman in the field, clocking in at 2:18:56.
Victoria’s Brittany Cooper was the fastest female with a time of 2:13:25.
