Grey Cup loves the Valley

The Grey Cup is coming back in Chilliwack for a third time this offseason, escorted by CFL MVP Travis Lulay of the BC Lions.

For the third time this offseason, the Holy Grail of Canadian football is coming to Chilliwack.

B.C. Lions quarterback Travis Lulay and kicker Paul McCallum are bringing the Grey Cup to town on Sunday.

You'll find them at the Hocking Avenue YMCA from 4 to 5 p.m.

Chilliwack Minor Football is hosting this event, aimed at celebrating the recent Grey Cup win by the B.C. Lions, who downed the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in November's Canadian Football League championship game at B.C. Place Stadium.

This is Lulay's second trip to the Fraser Valley in recent months. The CFL and Grey Cup MVP  stopped in at Sports & Stuff in the Chilliwack Mall before Christmas.

Chilliwack Minor Football has been providing football to youth in the Chilliwack area since 1992 and is looking forward to starting its 20th season.

Registration is scheduled to open for Mar. 31stt.
