The Fraser Valley Thunderbirds’ offence went nuts in a pair of road wins last weekend in Nanaimo.
The B.C. Major Midget Hockey League T-Birds beat the North Island Silvertips 7-4 on Saturday and 10-0 on Sunday, improving their league-leading record to 16-3-1-0.
Chilliwack’s Jackson Mainse scored three times in Sunday’s rout and leads all BCMMHL defencemen in points with 17 through 20 games.
Chilliwack’s Zach Feaver added a goal and an assist.
