BCHL extra: No surprises in latest rankings

The Penticton Vees have won 28 straight games and continue to top the CJHL top 20 rankings of Canadian junior A clubs.

You'll never guess which team sits first in the Canadian Junior Hockey League top 20?

The Penticton Vees, winners of 28 straight games, remain atop the rankings of  the nation's best junior A teams and show no signs of slipping from their lofty perch.

The Penticton power-house is one game away from tying the all-time BCHL consecutive wins mark, set by the 1989-90 New Westminster Royals.

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League's Humboldt Broncos are second in the CJHL rankings, with the Alberta Junior Hockey League's Spruce Grove Saints in third.

The only other BCHL team on the list is the Powell River Kings, moving up three spots this week from 19th to 16th.

The CJHL is comprised of the ten Junior A hockey leagues across Canada. More information can be found at www.cjhlhockey.com
