Falcons take down TimberWolves

The Sardis Falcons senior boys basketball team blew out Robert Bateman at home Tuesday night, downing the Timberwolves 87-61 in front of 200 partisan fans.

The Falcons, ranked ninth provincially, moved to 1-0 in league play and 6-2 overall.

Big man Hayden Lejeune led Sardis with 21 points.

Eric Rogers added 18.

Senior Raphael Olivares came off the bench to score 13, including a timely three pointer in the fourth quarter.

The Falcons head to Penticton for a tournament this weekend.
