New MotoCross series coming to Chilliwack
Future West Promotions announced Tuesday their intention to run a British Columbia MotoCross Championships series, with Chilliwack’s Heritage Park track highlighting the schedule.
John Hellam is the man behind the KTM Canadian ArenaCross Championship events, taking place several times a year at the big red barn. He has spent the last few weeks nailing down clubs and tracks for this new no-license-required series, slated to start in the spring.
In addition to Chilliwack, other locales committed to the series include Mission, Ashcroft, Kamloops, Victoria and Pemberton.
More tracks may yet hop on board, with the first race not running until March.
