Attack doubled up in road loss
The Chilliwack Attack traveled to Maple Ridge Friday night for a women's gold division encounter with the WCAGFC team.
The final score in this one was 2-1 favouring WCAGFC.
The Maple Ridgians scored the only goal of the first half at the 13 minute mark, and increased their lead 21 minutes into the second half, scoring against the run of the play.
After juggling the lineup to create more offence, Chilliwack got on the board at the 35 minute mark.
Janelle Cavanaugh broke down the right wing and fired a beautiful pass to onrushing Deanna Hawes, who blasted a low shot past the WCAGFC keeper.
Chilliwack pressed for the equalizer, but time ran out.
The Attack turn their attention to Delta United and a Sunday match at the Tzeachten Sports Field.
