Lacrosse Mustangs moving on
Chilliwack’s midget A2 lacrosse Mustangs are heading to provincials.
The local squad blitzed Semiahmoo, taking a best-of-five playdown series in three games. Chilliwack completed the sweep in Semiahmoo Saturday night, taking a 7-4 final.
Brayden Galbraith and Darien Maydiniuk scored two apiece with Max Leyen, Brett Gundmundson and Nathan Giesler adding singles.
Byron Dargatz was outstanding in net.
Tristan Dundas contributed three goals throughout the series with Connor Lovely, Bryden Heisler, Landon Smith, Brady Barrett and Tristan Desjarlais also lighting the lamp.
Provincials take place July 11-15 in Coquitlam.
