Two Chilliwack Golfers punched their tickets to the BC Summer Games with strong showings at Sunday's Zone 3 Spring Golf Tour tournament.

Chilliwack's McLellan finished second, losing on the first playoff hole to Swan-E-Set's Tom Bang.

Steven Scurr tied for third.

Their efforts netted them two of the four available spots. The other openings went to David Lee (Pitt Meadows Golf Club) and Marcus Brown (Players Club).

"Connor and Steven are not only great junior players, but are also solid leaders in our junior program,” said CG&CC head instructor Jennifer Greggain. “We are proud of their accomplishments, and know they will represent Chilliwack well."

The Summer Games will be held at Hazelmere Golf Club in Surrey this July.
