BCHL extra: Penticton Vees still atop national rankings

The Penticton Vees remain atop the rankings of the best junior A hockey teams in Canada.

The Canadian Junior Hockey League releases updated rankings Monday mornings.

The Vees, who haven’t lost a game since Nov. 5, earned first place honours ahead of the Alberta Junior Hockey League’s Spruce Grove Saints.

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s Humboldt Broncos are third.

The only other BCHL squad appearing on the list is the Surrey Eagles, checking in this week at 20th after earning an honourable mention last week.

The Powell River Kings earned an HM this week.

The CJHL is comprised of the ten Junior A hockey leagues across Canada.
