GW Graham girls ready for Delview Raiders
G.W. Graham’s grade eight basketball girls go gunning for a Fraser Valley title this week, taking on Delta’s Delview Raiders on Tuesday.
The Grizzlies rolled through league play with a 14-0 record and dumped Mt. Slesse and Rosedale in the playoffs to capture the first place banner.
They come into the Fraser Valley Regionals as the eighth seed (in a field of 32).
Tomorrow’s game takes place at 7:30 p.m. in the GWG gymnasium.
The winner moves on to a Thursday match against the winner of a game between Delta’s Seaquam Seahawks and Langley’s Samuel Robertson Technical Titans.
Two wins puts the girls into the Fraser Valley Championships, which starts Friday at Abbotsford’s MEI secondary school.
