Cross country competition
Sienna Lenz and Ron Wichmann turned in podium finishes at the B.C. Cross-Country Championships, held at Aldergrove Lake Park Oct. 29. Nine Chilliwack Track and Field athletes competed.
Lenz ran in the 11-year-old girls two-kilometre race, clocking a time of 8.05.5 to finish third.
Wichmann competed in the master’s division eight km run, finishing third with a time of 33.34.9.
Brandt Lenz turned in a fourth place showing in the eight-year-old boys 1.5km run and Delaney Belknap finished fifth in the 12-year-old girls three km race.
Marin Lenz was sixth among nine-year-old girls.
