Cascade camps keeping kids busy

The University of the Fraser Valley athletics department will be hosting sport-specific summer camps in July and August.

First on the schedule is a rowing camp, running July 18-22 and available to boys and girls.

It takes place at the Fort Langley Rowing Club.

The second week of August includes a girls soccer camp (Aug. 8-12) at Abbotsford’s Bateman Park, and a girls volleyball camp (Aug. 8-11) at Abbotsford’s Envision Athletic Centre.

A boys basketball camp runs Aug. 15-19 and a boys volleyball camp runs Aug. 22-25, both at the Envision Athletic Centre.

The camps will be coached by UFV Cascades varsity coaching staffs and members of the various teams. Get lots more info online at www.ufv.ca/Athletics/Camps.htm
