William Kenneth PARISH

“Ken” late of Chilliwack, passed away August 7, 2004 at the age of 88 years.

Ken was a World War II Vet and served with the R.C.A.F. as a pilot officer. He was a longtime member of the Vedder Royal Canadian Legion and was active with the R.C.L. for over 50 years. He has lived in the Chilliwack area for close to 20 years. Ken was a simple man who was very outgoing and loved talking to people. He loved his career as a bus driver, driving tours and charters.

A Celebration of Ken’s Life will be held at the R.C.L. Branch #280, Vedder Crossing, on Friday, August 13, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation, Valley Crematorium, Chilliwack.

He is survived by his son, Ken (Patti), of Victoria, grandchildren, Megan and Kristin and step-grandson, Rod (Cindy) Knyvett of La Quinta, Ca.

Should family and friends so desire, donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C. and Yukon.
