It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill (Papa) on June 5th, 2010 at Chilliwack General Hospital, after a short battle with Cancer, at the age of 71.
Bill will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 50 years Kathy, sons Tony and Mike (Angie), daughter Carolyn (Todd) Morrison, grandchildren Spencer, Evan, Brady and Brooklyn, his sister Linda (Mickey) Macri and their children Mickey Jr. and Lisa, mother-in-law Ruby Ficocelli and her family Diane and Duane Sykes, Bev and Dean Majewski, Ken Ficocelli and their families, Uncle Herman and family from Lethbridge, Alberta, Huesken relatives from Columbia Valley and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was predeceased by his parents George and Ruth Huesken.
Bill was born in New Westminster, BC on November 10th, 1938. In 1958, Bill purchased a dairy farm (Glengarry Stock Farms) in Chilliwack. There he worked side by side with his wife and family. He loved his family and took great pride in his children’s and grandchildren’s accomplishments. Bill was actively involved with the Atchelitz Farmers Institute and his children’s sports and grandchildren’s activities.
Papa’s greatest joy was his family. He also enjoyed spending his time camping and fishing with good friends and traveling and spending time at Birch Bay.
Dear Papa,
You have always had a special place in our hearts and it will remain there forever. Thank-you for all the love you gave your family. We miss you so much, but we know you are resting peacefully and watching over us.

We would like to thank Dr. Fitzpatrick and all the fabulous nurses at CGH. The care you provided for Papa’s last days will be remembered, appreciated and honoured forever.

Memorial Service will be held at Henderson’s Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 12th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.
