William George Blatchford, age 67, passed away peacefully Dec. 1, 2004 at Chilliwack General Hospital with his family around him.
Bill was born in Columbia Valley at his parents homestead on March 7th, 1937.
Bill is survived by his brother’s Jim and John and sister Ellen, son Gerald and daughter Brenda, his grandchildren, Kyle, Tyler, Gregory, Justin, Riley and Jayce. They were the light of his life.
He was predeceased by his parents William and Alice, his brother Michael, his sister’s Elizabeth and Mary.
Bill was a logger for many years of his life and ran his own business. His knowledge and experience in forestry will never be forgotten by many other loggers and friends.
Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything to do with the outdoors. Bill also enjoyed logger sports with many friends and family members.

Funeral Service will be held at Henderson’s Funeral Home at 45901 Victoria Ave., Dec. 11, 2004 at 1 pm. There will be a tea to follow, -4 pm, at Mount Cheam Lions Hall at 45580 Spadina Ave., Chilliwack following the service.
