(May 22, 1941 - July 13, 2008)

Bill passed away peacefully in his sleep at Chilliwack General Hospital, after a short battle with throat cancer.

Born in Peterborough, ON. Bill moved to the valley with his wife, Candace, and young son, Gibran, in 1969 to take a teaching job at Chilliwack Junior High, where he taught English. He later moved to the senior high, and eventually retired from teaching at the Chilliwack education center in 1998.

Bill was an extremely intelligent intellect, who loved to frequent the many fine restaurants that Chilliwack and the valley have to offer. He loved to share his great knowledge of fine wines, and menu ideas with his many friends and restaurant employees, managers, and owners. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him, and those who where close to him.

Bill is survived by his sister, Joan; son, Gibran; granddaughter, Kennedy; many nephews, nieces, and good friends.

He now flies with the angels, along with his mother and father, and his older brother Jack.

You are gone from here for now, but will never be forgotten.

Here’s to you dad…cheers!!

As per Bill’s request, there will be no service, only good memories.
