Wilfred James Jimmie was born in Chilliwack, B.C. February 18, 1932 and passed away at home in Chilliwack B.C. Squiala First Nation, September 5, 2008.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Jimmie, son Danny, Daughters Freda (Dennis), Debbie (Louie), Violet (Jim) and Jo-ann. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brothers Larry Jimmie, Charles Jimmie, Sam Jimmie Sr. and Ken Jimmie. He was predeceased by his loving mother Theresa Jimmie and father Sam Jimmie. His sons Chester and Stephen and daughter Jeanette. Brothers Alex Jimmie and Gordon John Jimmie.
Prayers will be held at Wilfred Jimmie’s House, 8570 Orchard Road, Chilliwack B.C. Squiala First Nation at 7 P.M. Thursday September 11, 2008. Funeral will take place on Friday, September 12, 2008 at 11 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 8909 Mary St., Chilliwack, B.C. Arrangements in care of McLean’s Funeral Services.
