Wayne FOLK

Wayne went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003.

Wayne lived most of his life in Chilliwack with his family. He started his successful firefighting career at 18 years of age, as a volunteer at the Chilliwack River Valley Fire Department. He spent 10 years at the CFB Chilliwack Fire Department, and the past seven years at the New Westminster Fire Department. He also worked for many years part-time as a training technician at the

Justice Institute.

Wayne loved his work, but he loved nothing more than his little girl Chanel.

He is survived by his fiancé Heidi Lantz; his beautiful daughter Chanel; father and mother, Larry and Myrna Folk; brothers, Derrell (Debbie), Bruce (Tina), Danny, and Mark (Heather); sisters, Angela and Denise; grandmother Eva McClain; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

He will be remembered for his zest for life, his generosity of time to others, and his love for his family and friends.

A viewing will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave.,

Chilliwack, Friday, Nov. 7, 2003 from 7-9 p.m.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003 at 10 a.m. at Central Community Church, 46100 Chilliwack Central Rd.

appreciated.
