Warren Holdt Emele passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, November 29th after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Warren was born June 24th, 1929 in Valbrano, Saskatchewan.
Warren is survived by his loving wife Helen of 26 years. His step family Rhonda & (Bill) Corbett, Ken & (April) Erickson, Betty Allen, Yvonne & (Jason) Rite. His cherished step-children Alex, Clay & Sydney Corbett, Trevor & Wade Allen, Lisa & Amy Hungle, Chris & Devin McCormack. Warren is also survived by his daughter Elaine (Ivan) Ten Bos, grandchildren Michael & Alicia and his brother Bob in Saskatchewan.
Warren worked for the District of Kent for 22 years in Agassiz and moved to Chilliwack shortly after retirement in 1996. Warren’s love for his family, fishing & people will live through our memories forever. We will always remember his unique sense of humour which made him the special person he was.
His family would like to send a special thank you to all the staff at the Cascade Hospice Centre for the excellent care he received.
A celebration of Warren’s life will be held Monday, December 7th at 1:00 PM in the Slesse Room, Evergreen Hall, 9291 Corbould St., Chilliwack, B.C.
